Modesys Informatique Inc. Changes Name and Adopts New Corporate Image
Montreal, May 15, 2006 – After more than seven years in business, Modésys Informatique, Inc. changes its name to AXON Integration and Development, Inc. (AXON). Since its foundation, the company has successfully delivered many projects in different IT environments. In order to better promote the expertise and knowledge of its team, AXON has updated its corporate mission:
Our mission is to help our clients develop and modernize their enterprise legacy systems, so they can improve their productivity, optimize their business processes, and trade electronically with their customers, suppliers, and partners.
The name change to AXON will also better position our offering within the vast IT market. The name AXON represents a component of the human brain responsible for the connection and information transfer between the brain’s neurons. This definition provides a good representation of our interventions within our customers’ systems.
Along with this change, our Web site was updated to reflect our current product and service offerings.
About AXON Plus
The AXON Plus platform comprises a set of software components designed to facilitate the integration of technologies and heterogeneous systems, and enable the development and deployment of modern Web-based applications based on industry best practices.
Our platform was developed during many years of research and development and has been tested on several occasions in large-scale projects. It includes particularly the best technological components in the open source market and our own specialized components, the whole of which is integrated into a coherent, powerful, and scalable platform, compatible with the J2EE standard and service oriented architecture (SOA).
